We can include attachments in your hire package including post hole diggers, auger extensions, rock breakers, hammers, sleeper grabs, leveller and spreader bras.

Delivery Options from Mini Plant Hire:

Our team are also able to provide delivery options for all of our plant hire across Melbourne. Whether you need our mini excavator hire in Clayton or our mini bobcat in Beaconsfield, we can help. Mini Plant Hire also offer drop-off options before and after traditional business hours. We regularly service the Melbourne area including Dandenong, Clayton and Beaconsfield.

1T Excavator Hire – You will need a vehicle with 1.5T towing capacity
1.7T Excavator Hire – You will need a vehicle with 2T towing capacity
5.5T Excavator Hire – You will need a vehicle with 6T towing capacity
Mini Bobcat Hire – You will need a vehicle with 2T towing capacity

Pick Up Options from Mini Plant Hire:

We have flexible business hours across our depots in Clayton and Beaconsfield for pickup options. You will require a vehicle with a towing capacity between 1.5 ton and 6 ton depending on the piece of equipment you hire.

What should I know before hiring equipment from Mini Plant Hire?

All the rates listed on our website are for 24-hour hire.
All of our machines come with a full tank of diesel and are cleaned prior to the hire. We expect our machines to be returned in the same condition you received it in.
To secure your booking, we take a $50 deposit over the phone. The rest of the balance is then charged on the day of pickup or delivery.
All of our machines are fully insured.
We provide wet hire and dry hire, just ask us for a quote on the type of hire you need.

Before hiring with the Mini Plant Hire team, here are a few things you’ll want to know:

The minimum width is 1960mm and the minimum height is 2550mm with boom arm folded.

All prices are for 24 hour hire. We have flexible business hours across our three depots. We offer before and after business hour pick up and drop off. We try our best to make it easy for you because we know traffic is not always kind! Call us to find out more.

Yes please! Same as renting a car, we would like the machines returned the same way you got it. All machines come with full tank of diesel and have been cleaned prior to your hire. We charge a fee if you ask us to refuel and clean it for you.

To tow a 5.5 ton excavator, you need a vehicle with at least 6 ton towing capacity.
